Diwali is a major festival celebrating the triumph of light over darkness and the start of new beginnings for millions of people of the Hindu, Sikh and Jain faiths.
Introduction to Diwali Assembly
At Little Thurrock Primary School, Mr Broyd introduced Diwali in assembly on Monday 13th November - the day after the main date of celebration.

In the days leading up to Diwali, children also shared in class how their families were planning on celebrating this festival.
