December 7th to 15th - Hanukkah
Hanukkah is a Jewish festival that is celebrated for eight days; also known as 'Festival of Lights'. It starts on a different day every year, usually in December. People celebrate with different traditions, food, games and gifts.
Introduction to Hanukkah Assembly
At Little Thurrock Primary School, Mr Broyd introduced Hanukkah in assembly on Monday 11th December. The presentation can be veiwed by clicking the link above.
Sharing
In the days leading up to Hanukkah, and the days of, children were able to share with their peers how they were planning on celebrating this festival.
