Reception visit Barleylands

Reception had a fabulous adventure when they visited Barleylands Farm as part of their Farmyard Fun learning theme. They were able to identify the farm animals they had been learning about in the classroom and experience the sounds and smells of the farm yard.

The children loved feeding the goats, sheep and alpaca and enjoyed touching the animals. Part of the farm adventure included exploring the farm museum and looking at tractors and machinery from a long time age. Reception were able to experience a bumpy tractor ride around the farm.

The children thought "this was the best day at the farm ever!"
