Cycle to School Week

From 25th - 29th September, Little Thurrock Primary School took part in Cycle to School Week, promoted by Sustran Travel.

On the Friday 22nd September, before Cycle to School Week, all teachers shared videos with their classes provided by Sustrans, which showed practical, step-by-step guides to check if scooters and bikes are safe to ride.

Posters were put up in and around school to encourage participation and promote the event.

Each class were provided with a class checklist, which children are to tick daily during Cycle to School Week to indicate whether they have cycled or scootered to school.

At the end of the week, classes handed their checklists to Miss Dowsett, who wrote out certificates to those who took part.

It was a pleasure to see how many certificates were written!
