Year 5 Trip to London Eye

On Wednesday 24th April, Year 5 were given the fantastic opportunity to visit the London Eye.

To begin the day, children met their teachers at Grays Station, where they boarded the C2C to West Ham. After getting off at West Ham, children experienced the rush of London public transport, by getting the Jubilee Line from West Ham to Westminster. From there, they walked over Westminster Bridge, stopping to take in the sights: Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Stopping for a quick break for a snack and toilet stop, children sat in Jubilee Park, observing the spectatular London Eye. Once queued, children got on the London Eye, witnessing London from a whole new perspective.

It was a magical day, which was enjoyed by all!
